"一日一コラージュを終えて"
毎日、音楽を聴いて写真を選び、絵が浮かんでくるまで様々に配置してみては崩して…を繰り返すのは、制作というより無心でパズルや占いをやっているみたいな気分になった。そこに線を載せるうちに写真が別のなにかに変容するのがおもしろくて、手を動かす。それはこの濃密な二ヶ月半の日記のようでもあり、その絵をみるだけで、その日の気持ちを思い出せる。さすがに73枚の紙と写真の層は、束になるとかなり重い。

"Finishing a collage a day"
Every day, I would listen to music, choose a photo, try to place it in various ways until a picture came to mind, and then break it down... Repeating this process felt more like mindlessly doing a puzzle or fortune-telling than creating. It was interesting to see the photo transform into something else as I put lines on it, so I moved my hands. It was like a diary of these two and a half dense months, and I could remember how I felt that day just by looking at the pictures. As expected, the 73 sheets of paper and layers of photographs are quite heavy when bundled together.
